Token Tray Stack

Required tools:

  • Glue (Wood glue is best, but just about any adhesive will work)

  • Masking Tape (You can of course use clamps for clamping pieces together, but it is overkill)

Don’t Forget: Dry fit all pieces first!

Note: Many pieces will by symmetrical in such a way that they will fit in multiple positions. When given the option we suggest orienting them so that any laser burn marks are on the inside, so that a cleaner exterior is maintained.

Newer iterations of this design will not have dividers in the bottom of the stack

Identify your pieces

The bottom of the stack sleeve will look very similar to the bottoms of the individual trays, but will be slightly larger in each dimension.

One of the faces of the stack sleeve is taller than the other.

Make sure the opening on the side pieces open towards the shorter face, and that the closed end of the side is level with the taller face, as pictured here.

The tray sides and tray divider pieces are nearly identical, except that the divider pieces are ~1mm shorter.

It will not greatly impact the component if these are mistaken for each other, but for best results separate the pieces and make sure to use the shorter pieces for the dividers

Felt Lining

Identify and Appy

You will have a small piece to apply to the back of each stack, and a single long piece that will run down the sides and along the bottom.

You will be glad to have taken time to get proper alignment when applyig.

For best results use something hard but not sharp to press into corners.

You may find that there is a small amount that will have to be trimmed off after application.
